Mother And Daughter Team Up To Create Handmade Beaded Jewelry For CFS Sufferers

Mother and daughter team up to start unique online business to design and create handmade beaded jewelry. Their special awareness bracelets fill a much needed void for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome sufferers, and as well as for people suffering from other debilitating illnesses

Torrance, CA (IPRWire) Tues, Oct. 24th, 2006—Girlie Girls Jewelry Studio (www.girliegirlsjewelrystudio.com), a mother and daughter handmade beaded jewerly venture that specalizes in designing a unique line of Awareness Bracelets by using “healing stones,” has recently announced the launch of their website. Healing stones are commonly used to give a ray of hope to those dealing with stressful conditions such as Chronic Fatique Syndrome (CFS).

The designers, Barbara and Kristy Romero, know first hand about stressful conditions. At age 14, Kristy was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Because CFS is a complex and debilitating chronic illness that affects the brain and multiple body systems, Kristy became a home-schooled student and the computer became her best friend. During this time Kristy learned web design while her mother Barbara, an architerctural designer, searched for handmade beaded jewelry “awareness” braclets. Unable to find one for CFS, she decided to take her hobby of jewelry making to the next level and sharpen her skills with classes on jewelry design and fabrication. The results of this combination of efforts was Girle Girls Jewelry Studio.

Girlie Girls Jewelry Studio now designs meaningful awareness bracelets for CFS as well as other debilitating illnesses.
